We want you to be satisfied with Rankad.ai. This policy explains our refund and cancellation terms in accordance with Swedish consumer protection laws and EU regulations.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
For new customers: If you're not satisfied with Rankad.ai, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your first payment.
- Eligible plans: Core, Pro, and Elite (monthly and annual)
- Timeframe: Within 30 days of your initial payment
- Refund amount: 100% of your first payment
- Processing time: 7-14 business days to your original payment method
After 30 Days
No refunds for:
- Cancellations after the 30-day money-back period
- Partial months or unused time
- Change of mind or lack of use
- External factors (e.g., AI engines changing their algorithms)
Exception: If Rankad.ai experiences significant service failures or breaches our Terms of Service, we may offer pro-rated credits or refunds at our discretion.
Elite Plan - 14-Day Trial
Special terms for Elite plan:
- Trial period: 14 days to evaluate the Elite plan features
- During trial: Full access to all Elite features
- After trial: 30-day money-back guarantee applies (30 days from end of trial)
- Cancel during trial: No charge if canceled within 14 days
How to Request a Refund
Step 1: Contact Us
Email kontakt@rankad.ai with subject "Refund Request"
Step 2: Include Information
- Your account email address
- Account name / company name
- Date of purchase
- Reason for refund request (optional but helpful)
Step 3: Verification
We'll verify your account and payment information. You may be asked to confirm account details for security purposes.
Step 4: Processing
Eligible refunds are processed within 7-14 business days to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.).
Cancellation Without Refund
You can cancel your subscription anytime:
- Cancel from your account settings
- Or email kontakt@rankad.ai with "Cancel Subscription"
What happens when you cancel:
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No further charges after current period ends
- No refund for remaining days in current period (unless within 30-day guarantee)
- Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation (then deleted)
Refund Eligibility Conditions
Refunds may be denied if:
- You have violated our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- You have abused the refund policy (e.g., repeated refund requests)
- Your account has been terminated for cause
- The request is made after the 30-day guarantee period
- You request a refund due to factors outside our control (e.g., AI engine algorithm changes, your website issues)
Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions: Same 30-day money-back guarantee applies.
- Within 30 days: Full refund of annual payment
- After 30 days: No refunds for early cancellation
- Service failure: If we fail to provide service, pro-rated credit may be offered at our discretion
Billing cycle: Annual plans renew automatically. You can cancel before renewal to avoid charges for the next year.
Chargebacks and Disputes
Please contact us first: Before initiating a chargeback with your bank, please contact us at kontakt@rankad.ai. We're committed to resolving billing issues fairly and quickly.
Chargeback consequences: Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate account suspension pending investigation. We reserve the right to pursue collection for legitimate charges in accordance with Swedish law. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and legal action.
Service Credits (Pro-Rated Refunds)
In exceptional circumstances, we may offer service credits instead of refunds:
- Significant service outages (beyond our control)
- Features promised but not delivered
- Billing errors on our part
Service credits can be applied to future invoices and do not expire while your account is active.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Modified" date. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days in advance. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
Swedish Consumer Rights: Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Swedish consumer protection laws (Konsumentköplagen, Distansavtalslagen, Ångerrätt). For distance sales, Swedish consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal in addition to our 30-day money-back guarantee.

- Specific improvements in search engine rankings, AI engine visibility, or website traffic
- Achievement of specific business outcomes, revenue increases, or ROI
- Compatibility with all third-party AI engines, search platforms, or technologies
- Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of our services
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any data, analytics, or recommendations provided
External Factors: AI engines, search algorithms, and ranking factors are controlled by third parties (e.g., Google, OpenAI, Perplexity) and change frequently without notice. Rankad AB has no control over these external systems and cannot be held liable for changes, updates, or decisions made by these platforms.
User Responsibility: Results depend on numerous factors including your content quality, website technical health, competitive landscape, industry dynamics, and proper implementation of our recommendations. You are solely responsible for your use of our services and any decisions made based on our tools, data, or guidance.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law (Produktansvarslagen, Konsumentköplagen), Rankad AB and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of our services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
